Welcome to the world of Firefall. We know logging into a new game for the first time can be confusing, so we've put together this New User Guide to give you some insight into the basic interfaces and mechanics Firefall has to offer. Buckle up Soldier and see what adventures await!

What is Firefall?

Firefall is a dynamic, Open World MMORPG-Shooter with great exploration of a vast future Earth, rewarding skilled players as they progress through a deep story. Players will be able to customize their character and Battleframe in a living world that constantly offers new challenges.

The biggest difference between Firefall and other games in this genre is, that it offers you vertical gameplay by bringing jumpjets into the field. That's right, you can literally jumpjet on and to everything within the game world by hitting the jump button a second time, thus activating your jump jets – of course only as long as your energy for that jumpjets last.

In addition to Jumpjets, Firefall gives players the ability to soar through the skys by using specific glider pads throughout the game world or just activating a self owned special gilder anywhere in the game world. Flying never feeled better!

For those who prefer a more traditional method of travel, Firefall does offer a variety of ground vehicles that players can use to get where they’re going faster. Currently, there are two primary types of vehicles: Light Ground Vehicles (LGVs) and Medium Ground Vehicles (MGVs).

Fighting for a world forever changed by the Melding, Firefall players also customize their battleframes and weaponry, taking the fight to the Chosen to reclaim Earth. With team-based and on-demand quests, Firefall is the first MMO to feature truly dynamic events that appear throughout the game world, offering players new experiences every time they play.
