Runningpotatoe asks, “my question is that will the Melding actually take back the areas if players stop visiting the area what the have already captured from melding or will it stay captured forever?"
In Firefall, The Melding is considered a living, breathing entity. The Melding will ebb and flow and it is something that players will always have to worry about. You will constantly be battling against The Melding and the Chosen will certainly be pushing back and attempting to spread The Melding in areas that may be weaker than others.
